Michelle Obama Watch

It seems whatever the Obamas do, it will never be enough for some people. Goodness when was it wrong to have a strong intelligent child, when was it wrong for a child to tell her parents that they are embarrassing her by shaking her friends hand. Sandra Rose need a life, to compare the Obamas to the Jacksons is out of line, those two families are nothing alike.

Do not blame the Obamas Sandra Rose because you didn’t get to have a relationship with your parent, maybe they just didn’t like being around an ugly soul like yours. Maybe they knew just how despicable of a person you would be. and you are a nasty, ugly, low life little person.

I read that on Rose’s blog and about fell out. You can see lilttle white kids in real life or in movies acting older than their age being well spoken and mature all the time. So if the little girl used broken english and perhaps said the word “um, or uh” a couple of times, then Sandra would have approved. The Obamas are damned if they do damned if they don’t..

More controversy = more comments = more hits = more ad revenue. That’s all that I think this is.

I personally thought the interview was wonderful, but I’m glad this will be the only one… because if that’s the kind of attention and scrutiny these kids are getting for this tiny moment before the cameras, the Obamas would be wise to keep them out of the spotlight for now.

Sandra rose is another blogger who spews ignorance and glamorizes ghetto culture. This is the same blogger who positively promotes and defends T.I. his girlfriend, lots of gangsta rappers, singer Monica, and typically calls black women hookers, bitc@#$, and always blames black women for the mess that black men get themselves into sometimes.

Black women who go against ghetto culture are basically called uppity negroes on her blog. She’s like a black Michelle Malkin but against her own culture.

She’s trying to be the black Perez Hilton. That she’ll never be.

When they lower the legal drinking age limit to ten, then I’ll listen to what a 10-year-old has to say.

What an odd benchmark. Does she only listen to people when they’re intoxicated?

Actually, that might explain an opinion or two . . .

It truly saddens me when a person of color dogs our beautiful African American Children. Don’t we have enough cultures doing that. Exspecially when its obvious they are two loving and caring indivuals. It doesn’t make them too grown when you just happen to be highly intelligent. Raised by two highly intelligent parents.

Ten year old of today do not act stupid or like babies. But if you are raising them right you PRAY TO GOD they act like they have good common sense.

There’s a proud moment to see a unified Black family together. Something to hold your head up to.

Malia will become a strong african american woman with confidence isn’t that what we want for our sons and daughters of tomorrow.

Obama should not regret his interview. Just hold his head in pride. Let it be their last children interview so ignorant people will not be able to attack them in the future.

I was busy most of today so I was surprised that after watching the Obamas’ interview online last night it had turned into this hot mess on CNN by the afternoon.

Like a lot of people commenting, I came from a household where we were surrounded by books and were encouraged to dialog with our parents in an intelligent manner. Mama and Papa were in charge, but we were free to give our opinions as long as we were respectful. And we were welcomed into topical discussions on just about everything. So when I heard Malia talk it just made me think of myself and my sisters, especially me, who was highly confident and not shy as a child. Most adults loved us because we were so “mature and well-behaved.” That’s all I heard until I was 21 — how mature, well-spoken, smart and “well-behaved” I was.

But some people are in the emotional dark ages of child rearing where a mere opinion is an insult. The only quibble I had with the Obamas was letting their girls take part in an interview because tired individuals like Rose, et al, would use whatever they said or did as a negative indictment on Barack and Michelle.

I have NO desire to see the weeMichelles get the ‘Chelsea Clinton’ treatment. There’s a reason why at 30 she still won’t grant interviews.

I do not know how old Ms. Rose is …but middle class and priveledged children today have access to so much more information and stimulation than we did when we were 10 years old. I think many kids today….”those kids today” Oh Lord!, just seem precocious when we compare them to our young selves.

I think this is truly just generational and Ms. Rose’s age is showing.

If you are ever near a group of young prep school kids you will see the same behavior. They know a lot more about so many things than I did when I was 10. But of course when we were 10, there was no broadband, cell phones, leap frogs or 300 cable channels.
