Michelle Obama Watch

If the past couple of days is any indication, the inauguration of the 44th President of the United States will be filled with electrifying moments, tear evoking sentiment, and split second instances that will be talked about for generations to come. From the actual swearing in to the Inaugural Speech to the gown the First Lady will wear we all wait with baited breath to be inspired, amazed, and surprised. While much of the specifics about the activities that is anticipated to be filled with enchanting nuances remain tightly under wraps, we have learned recently a little something about the Obama’s first dance as the First Couple of the United States.

Beyonce will be serenading the Barack and Michelle as they take the floor for their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. President Inauguration Night. In sharing the news this past Friday, Beyonce tells Entertainment Tonight that she is going to sing Etta James’ classic “At Last” while the Obama’s dance.

“I am so honored that I will be performing for President Obama and the first lady. To sing ‘At Last’ while they have their first dance is a dream come true. I could not be more honored and excited that they have asked me to be part of this moment in history.”

No…this ain’t the Huxtables. It’s the Obama’s and they’re real!
