I am happy to see that the American public is giving her a chance, putting aside their usual hatred/disdain for Black females. Maybe now they will think twice before doing that to more of us as well.

Hey. I really like her. Her first job is mother then wife then trend setter. I don’t care if she wears blue jeans and a sweat shirt around the White House. Her dressing is her own business. Just because she happens to be first lady doesn’t mean everyone can tell her what to wear and how to act or how to talk. I admire her as a mother. She’s in love with her husband and she knows that she looks good in her clothes. Her white dress was stunning on her but would have bleached me out since I am white and blond. Forget Jackie o and the others. She looks great just like she is. Michelle Obama.

uhh, i am not the one comparing her to jackie o – the press is. her personality and her fashion sense is not jackie o as it shouldn’t be. i don’t even get the pearl wearing. does michelle wear genuine pearls? i’ve seen some chunky costume pieces which are white. anyway… just thought today’s bilious green/yellow sequined dress with rhinestones was a little over the top for before the noon hour. i wish them well. no more comparing to kennedy, lincoln, etc.

Uhh, that’s right; Mrs O. is no Jackie O…she’s, uhh, Mrs O. and long may she remain so! Jackie was Jackie, unique and beautiful, and Michelle is Michelle, unique and beautiful, also.

(I’m not very up on my gems so I’ve no idea whether the new First Lady wore rhinestones or not this morning. All I know is that she looked utterly, utterly gorgeous!)
