buddy — don’t be such a candy@ss. For God’s sake, the guy is a Marine. He’s been through a war, combatting an ememy who would scare the living daylights outta any of us. It’s probably safe to say that his heart is not going to be crushed just because he didn’t get a few fingers in his hand. This guy was applauded by an entire nation — ask MOST Americans and they’d say he got a standing ovation, which is certainly a high form of compliment… not to include getting singled out before tens of millions of Americans & others worldwide by Michelle’s husband for his commitment to serve.

The real disgrace is that after an extraordinary event where our president leveled with us about the issues that both Republicans and Democrats are concerned about the most, we still have a few whiners in the bunch whose main gripe is NOT — among other reasons — about Obama’s sincerity in addressing the nation, nor the implications of his policies — but because Michelle Obama didn’t give a battle scarred Marine a petty Martha Stewart-handshake.

Back up from your TV a bit, and next time, try listening with your eyes shut.
