If so, you are not alone. Long Island, NY residents Krissy and Nandra Best are often mistaken for the first daughters. Whether it is the mall or a restaurant, people assume that they are Sasha and Malia Obama. Here is a snippet from a NY Daily News article by Samuel Goldsmith:
“We tell people,’No, we’re not’ but they keep on insisting that we’re them,” 9-year-old Krissy told the Daily News Saturday from her home in Medford, L.I.
Their mother, Karen Noel Best, takes on a more humorous approach to the constant attention.
“People have been saying they look like the Obama girls since the election,” said Best, 48. “We go to the mall and restaurants and people always stop us.”
“Sometimes I say, ‘Yes, they are the girls, and I’m their nanny and we have to go,’” she said.
Ms. Best is not at all bothered by the comparison. After all, she feels that the Obama girls are wonderful role models for her daughters. Best shares many of the strong family values championed by the president and his family.

Beautiful girls in their own right, but no resemblance to the Obama girls. People should know that they are not the Obama girls by the simple fact that NO secret service agents are walking with them or stopping people from talking to them.

Why would any mother want to put their child in danger knowing that some crazy person is out there hoping to get their hands on the little Obama just to get back at their dad (the President).
I hope that she has stop that practice of saying “Yes they are”, and just set people straight by saying no.

NOw that You mention it, there is something creepy about some of the Mom’s comments. There’s something Norma Ray/Joe Jackonson-esq about it. In addition, WHO called up the newspaper to say “people think these young women look like the Obama girls?”
That being said… a WHOLE lot of Black women are running around these parts with sleeveless “Michelle Obama” looks and I’ve had atleast one relative say “this is my MIchelle Obama” outfit…. but they aren’t calling the paper.
And yes, this might not end well.

I’m also with everyone else, the girls bear no resemblence to the Obama girls. I’m glad they’re having fun though.

These are clearly not the brightest folks believing so either, because Sasha and Malia would obviously have a major security apparatus around them. Seriously? There is no way these two girls look anything like Sasha and Malia! I know we come in all shades but nothing about their facial structure even resembles the girls. I wish I had seen Regis and Kelly because I think I would have tried to call in…. wrong move. My little nieces look more like the Obama girls than these two. They are cute but the Obama girls they are not.
BTW what does the mom sharing the same family values have to do with anything? Shouldn’t we all or are family values only reserved for pink people?

Those girls do not even resemble the Obama siblings.
They may be able to bear a very slight resemblance if they were to dress similar to them and have their hair styled in a similar hairdo; but that is the extent of it.
