Photos Galore: First Lady Michelle Obama and weeMichelles Land in Moscow

EVEYBODY LOOK GOOD AND FRESHED MICHELLE FINNELY DID HER HAIR AND THEY DIDNT SHOW THE GIRLS DRESS THAT THEY WEAR IT WAS COVER UP BY A JACKET IT MUST BE A LITTLE CHILI THERE. AND DIDNT SEE MICHELLE MOM WITH THEM SHE MUST HAVE SPEAD THE REST OF THE HOILDAY WITH MICHEAL BORTHER FAMILY I AM SURPRISED THEAT SHE DIDNT GO WITH THEM AM SURE THAT SHE THAT THEY GOT SOMEBODY TO KEEP A EYE ON THEM.
Her fashion sense is turning into a 2-trick-pony…………either sleeveless or dress w/cardigan accented w/high-waisted wide belt. Pretty boring & predictable, but I’m sure she has more important things to focus on as a mother & First Lady.
That so-called one trick pony is more than piece of clothes. She is intelligent, bright, smart, charming, beautiful and brilliant woman. Flotus has her own style, if you don’t like it, that’s your prerogative.
I love love love Mrs.Obama but I must say that the belt is worn too high and instead of accentuating her waist it makes her look as if she has a “baby bump”.
And as much as I love love love Mrs. Obama I must say that she absolutely MUST stop wearing cardigans with just the center button buttoned. Again it makes her midriff look untidy and bulky. Shes just too fabulous for such a messy look. I get that its a more casual look but it reads sloppy in photographs- not sleek or chic as she deserves
For those who are interested in designers, the dress is Narciso Rodriguez, the coat is Michael Kors, and the belt is Sonia Rykiel.

I learned a long time ago that Michelle is going to wear what is comfortable and suitable to Michelle, and so there’s really no point in me getting in a tizzy over what I like, or what I prefer, or what I think she should or shoudn’t put on/cover up/show or hide from view. She’s got to “be herself” to do what she’s doing, and if that, at times, makes for her running counter to my own personal preferences in the clothing department, well, so be it!
(It’s been great to read elsewhere that the Russian media has been more attentive to how the First Lady’s kitchen garden is faring, and how she’s raising her children than what she’s wearing. It makes for a welcome respite from the usual nonsense in too much of the Western media with its over emphasis on staging artificial “clothes wars” between various First Ladies.
No doubt, as Rome is the next stop, we can “look forward to” the usual “same-old-same-old” in that regard….).
I applaud that Michelle chooses to be comfortable, happy and herself.
Bravo! More women could take a page from her book and seek to make themselves happier in their everyday dress.
I personally adore most of her choices. She makes few mistakes. I dont think that I have to chose between adoring her outfits and being interested in her social and global work. A healthy amount of interest can be found in both. She is a beacon in both areas.
Without delving into an unnecessary and demeaning “clothes war” between her and other First Ladies this particular thread was discussing her clothing choices– and yes she could benefit from buttoning up that cardigan and pulling that belt to her waist.
I thank God the President Obama was blessed with a Strong woman who has his back. No matter what she wears her brilliant smile captures any audience that she is in front of may God Bless the First Lady and her family. Thank You for not changing and being the image of what most American families should be like and standing by you man.
Angie, I can’t say that I disagree with anything that you’ve said.
It’ll be interesting to see whether a balance between noting what Michelle is wearing, and also paying due attention to what she’s doing and achieving is struck as she continues on her travels. To repeat, it’s been a welcome respite to see the Russian media unlike too much of its Western counterpart not get into the whole clothing rivalry between First Ladies thing. It serves no useful purpose whatsoever, and can at times be frustratingly negative.
I appreciate our First Lady for; First- wearing comfortable cheerful clothing that allows her to take of business; Second – for NOT spending the country’s money on needless fancy expensive clothes; and Third – ignoring people who have nothing positive to say.
there are people in our country without health care, seniors are hungry, and our education system has failed and you people are criticizing the First Lady’s clothes? Think people.

I agree that a “tizzy” is not necessary.
