Yes, Michelle Obama ROCKS! She got that hula hoop around 140+ times. I think that it is wonderful what she’s doing for the children in the DC community. She has truly turned the White House into a home.

Did you see the footage of her double dutchin? Go ‘head Southside girl! The other day I got reluctantly sucked into the Toys R Us vortex and hula hoops, about a gazillion different kinds, were front and center. I remember being a little girl and jumping rope at least 3 times a day with friends and hula hooping on the block. If Michelle can make children’s games become en vogue then big ups to her.

Me too, A Darton. I’m British and am truly envious of your First Lady. She is such an inspiration. So approachable and open. I can’t remember any first lady before her, who kicks of shoes to do hooping on the White House lawn.

Off topic, her hair is beautiful, healthy and shining.
