I’ve just e-mailed Google, and as noted elsewhere will be using alternative search engines; It is good to be reminded that we are not just limited to the choice of take it or leave it.

I just had the opportunity to view the disgraceful demoralizing picture of the first lady Michelle Obama. I feel that this is an insult to both her and also all African American people as well as all other people of color both here in the US and abroad. Please remove this spectacle from your site as soon as possible. Again ASAP, take it down. Thank you for listening and obeying the wishes of the public.

Voicing our concern has never been easier – all it takes is a few keystrokes. If we don’t sign the petition, or send an email, or post in the Google Forum, how will Google know that many people are upset with the current image search result?

Hello Fellow GOOGLErs!

While I understand the fundamental ethos involved in any form of censoring in a theoretically free speech society; I also am aware that integral to a so-called democracy are protectionist practices of all miens.

I assert that this 18th century perspective residue qualifies within that genre and appeal to that inclusive, empowering paradigm that Google launched onto and manages through a 21st century and beyond global humanity: take that atrocious image down, Mr. Google!

Knowing you’ll set the standard and do the timeless thing;-)
