
First Lady Michelle Obama announced a year long mentoring program for high school girls today in the East Room of the White House. Taking questions from the mentees, Mrs Obama spoke about how her role models helped shape her life. When speaking about mentoring from the power seat of the White House Mrs O became emmotional.

This will definitely make a difference in some young ladies lives. I hope she will extend mentorship to college students as well.

@SAMANTHA CHIKO I agree. These young ladies will never forget this opportunity and it will surely help shape their lives.
A college mentorship program would also be an excellent idea, especially when you think about the number of government and other careers some people aren’t privy too.
I’m also looking forward to the program for young men.

She got emotional Michelle is a real emotional person u can tell she’s passionate about what she is doing for these lucky ladies. I hope these girls take something away from these women that they’ll be working with. This sounds like a really good oppurtunity. Thanks for the video..
