Not to long ago, the list of her public detractors was long and her vocal public defenders nearly non existent. We knew back when we started this site that the media “image” of Michelle Obama was erroneous driven mainly by an inability to put her in a stereotypical box. Gone are the days when delusional people tried to portray her as an ABW. Now she’s Mentor-in-Chief and we’re loving it!
We’ve had a wildly hilarious year here on this blog. I still can’t believe we’re still rolling. Certainly when we started, I didn’t know we’d be here over a year later, but this is truly PURE JOY.
We have some great members in the MOW community and I’m excited about some new MOW-related projects in 2010. We’re going to enjoy every second of First Lady Obama being in the White House!
If I don’t see you before then, Happy Holidays and I’ll see you on the other side of 2009!

I am so glad I came upon you guys here at MOW. I think by now anyone who comes here know how I feel about this First Lady. She has had a wonderful year and I am here to tell you that she will only get better. Even with all the mess she and her husband have dealt with, they both have shown class, grace, and diginity. Thanks for all of your efforts with this website. You’re doing an awesome job covering one of the most fascinating people since…forever. Mrs. Obama’s community action, volunteer efforts are bordering on unprecedented greatness – and we’re only in the first year of their term! To all of her fashion critics, the fact that she dares to dress herself, and err occasionally, is so much more refreshing than team-styled perfection. It makes her all the more interesting to watch. Bill O’Rielly comments about the First Lady when he met her for the first time the other night. He said she was stunning,warm and kind to his 10 year old daughter. She is strong, charismatic, and beautiful. Did the Glen Beck and his followers just fall off their hate wagon? But O’Rielly saw what we’ve been seeing all along. We have a very nice First Lady. Michelle can not make the President do anything, if she had open her mouth , does that mean the President would have done different. She is his wife not his boss.
