Don’t forget Oprah Winfrey’s primetime special “Christmas at the White House” will air tonight on ABC at 10 PM EST and 9 PM Central. The special will include a behind the scenes look at the Obama’s preparations for their first Christmas in the White House.
This will be the first White House Christmas special I have ever watched. I am not so much interested in the holiday decorations as I am the decor of the rooms in the White House. The blue room, where the First Lady took her official portrait, is one of my favorites. I know it’s probably a long shot, but I am also hoping to get a glimpse of the First Grandmother and weeMichelles.

I can’t watch since I don’t watch TV, never did get that digital converter and can’t justify the cost since I watch everything on Hulu, butI have always loved the White House at Christmas time.

Just finish watching Christmas at the White House with Oprah. It was really nice. The White House was really beautiful. Didn’t see Malia and Sasha, but it was nice seeing Bo. He knows how to give hi-fives, what a cool dog.

I watched this and thought Pres. Obama was rude to Michelle. I also thought O.prah asked some really stereotypical questions. She kept harping on “control” in the relationship and how they felt about what other people said. It reinforced the opinion that Black women can’t take a man being the “leader” of the household and that Black people are overly concerned with “what people think”.
Generally a lame interview and if it was anyone else asking the questions, the Obama’s would have walked.

@SISTER P OK you’re going to have to break this one down for me. I didn’t see the rudeness you speak about. I remember how Michelle was scrutinized after some of the interviews during the campaign. How she was accused of cutting him off and speaking for him. I felt those claims were false. I didn’t see anything that different from what my husband and I do when interacting in a group.
I feel you on Oprah. She does what she does and rarely steps out of the box. Nothing new there.

This is to the Moderator of this post, I watched the Christmas show on Sunday as well, it was Beautiful, so on Monday I decided to go to Oprah’s website and pull up the Video, well, the Video looked as if it had been HACKED UP! and I mean HACKED! the First Lady’s Necklace was slung to the other side!! in one scene, the President looked as if he had a Black eye, they had Oprah’s mouth in Small piece’s!!! the ABC symbol was made to look as if it was drowning, and I will NOT post the REALLY HORRIBLE thing’s that I saw, but, all I can say is (HELP us LORD)!
I told my sister about this on last night, so she tried to pull the Video up, but, she could NOT! and she tried and she tried! at one point, my sister found herself on HUFF POST, and it showed certain part’s of the video, but, trust me, what I saw on Oprah’s site last night was Horrible! do you know anything about this?

I’m sorry but I didn’t see where the President was rude to the First Lady. I love to see the way they interact together. He always says she keeps him grounded. The show Sunday night was really nice.
