Barbara Walters could not have picked a more intriguing figure than FLOTUS to be the Most Fascinating Person of 2009. The double Ivy Leaguer who is now Mom-in-Chief is always energetic and leaves us wondering what else will she do. She wears many hats Mom-In-Chief, Mentor-In Chief, advocate for military families, advocate for healthy eating in children & White House Hostess. She is graceful in a position where everyone tries to project their views on her and what issues she should be tackling. She can only be as she often reminds us “Michelle Obama.”
FLOTUS in her signature sleeveless showing off her well defined arms talked about her exercise regimen which began after Malia’s birth. FLOTUS reminds us that POTUS is a father and a husband. Her honesty and frankness about their lives draws you closer to want to know Michelle the person. If she would have asked the President not to go into politics he would have agreed but she did not want to stand in the way of his dreams.
I must admit when she talked about bonding with Bo gives her some “me” time that every mother cherishes. She said, “”Bo is my baby, he’s our son. He’s wonderful. He’s growing,” she said. “It’s like I’m a mother. You ask about my kid, I’m gone.” Truly these are the words of a Mom-In-Chief! What have you found fascinating about FLOTUS?

I caught the very end of Ms. Walters show and I was surprise. But hay we knew the First Lady is fascinating and all that. Can’t wait to see the interview Oprah did with the Obamas at the White House. December 13th at 10pm on ABC.

She is fantastic. Unfortunately, I’d decided earlier to boycott after seeing previews of some in the line-up. But I have since had the great plaesure of seeing the bit with our magnificent first lady.

FLOTUS has done a great job so far and I believe she will only get better. And I still have confidence in the President also.
