Michelle Obama Watch goes international again as the President and First Lady head to Olso, Norway to attend the Nobel Peace Prize signing ceremony at the Norwegian Nobel Institute. According to the White House Press Office, the First Couple will arrive in the morning at at Oslo Airport Gardermoen. In the afternoon, the President and the First Lady will meet with King Harald V and Queen Sonja at the Royal Palace. The President and the First Lady will then attend the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony at the Oslo City Hall. The evening will conclude with Nobel Banquet at the Grand Hotel.
For MOWers this will definitely be one to watch. I don’t usually like to focus only on the First Lady’s fashion choices, but I can’t wait to see what she wears, especially to the banquet. She looked absolutely beautiful at the Kennedy Center Honors so if it is anything comparable to that watch out.

Robin: If you don’t know then you shouldn’t be on sites like this one…
Maybe you’ll find like-minded folks who might take your bait at Faux news etc.?

Robin…it’s time to put that to rest. The President didn’t ask for this Nobel Peace Prize. He was not out there campaigning for it. Ask the people who gave him the award, what did they see in him? Give this President eight years like you know who got,( his name will not be mention,) and we will be asking when will he get his next Nobel Peace Prize?

Personally I visit this site and others because I am in awe of the Obama’s and I love to read about Michelle. She is an inspiration and a fantasitc role model for young girls. What a waste of life to visit sites to spew hate and negativity. People like Robin et al need to get over themselves.

It was fascinating to hear the Nobel Lecture by this year’s laureate, an excellent speech! For anybody who might not understand why Obama was awarded this prestiguous prize, you should hear the speech given by the head of the Nobel comittee. It makes perfect sense. The ceremony was both beautiful and interesting, with excellent, thoughtful and intelligent speeches and superb, world class musical entertainment worthy the ceremony. It was a joy to watch. Another highlight of the day, was as the Obama couple was greeted by the citizens of Oslo just prior to the Nobel Banquet.
Foreign policy is extremely important for today’s America. I strongly believe, that this little trip to Oslo was a success, not only for Obama, but also for America – important political work was done and achieved – and is in the end a solid investment in a more peaceful and secure future. Greetings from Oslo!
