If you watched the State of the Union Address last night you saw President Obama acknowledge and thank the First Lady for spearheading a national movement to tackle childhood obesity. Seemed like a harmless thank you to me and modest response from Mrs Obama. However, after perusing the blogosphere it appears that some have taken issue with the President’s acknowledgement and the First Lady’s reaction. I won’t link to the haters blogs. It’s often a waste of time debating with the clueless. Here’s the video. MOWatchers let me know what you think.

I watched the President’s speech, I saw it all. When he acknowledge the First Lady and how she seem embarrassed. I found nothing wrong with what she did. I thought it was kind of cute. There are just people out there who will try to fine fault with the Obamas regardless what it is that they do or say. That’s how Hate works.

LOOL! You gotta love these two! I am not surpised by the critics. Being in black skin in America is a tough thing at all levels. But, no one wants to deal with the race card because it uncovers our imperfect union. Being black in America is worse when you are in a high position. Every move you make is critiqued and every decision you make is second guessed. You have to work twice as hard to be rewared half as much. Sigh… God bless America. SMH!

I am so tired of listening to, reading the negative posts, and watching these folks on cable and television. Hate is such a strong emotion that eventually it will damage them. I had to take a check of myself and realize that I was allowing them to get to me! Now? These folks are a waste of my time.! They hate for hate-sake! If this is their life, so be it. I have better things to do!
I am proud of our First Lady. She is doing an awesome job. The issues that she has taken on are important for this and future generations. She has my thank you and support.

i have never been to the united states and am not in a position to have a political opinion regarding barack obama. but everything i see about barrack and michelle obama makes me happy. jealous, but happy. they seem like pretty much the ideal couple. and excellent people.
i can’t see how anyone could fault this interaction unless they were a jerk.

Michelle had a campaign for military families as her cause while her husband for running for president. No action..until Ft. Hood, then she said the cause was back on. Now that one of her kids has a slight overweight problem….the control freak is back on. I think she a control freak to no end. All that education at the taxpayers expense and she could not even work…;wanted to be a mom…hello..she is a mom and a control freak.

This woman is trying to do something to help our kids and instead of embrassing it people like you what to call names and fine fault with it. I can not answer every idiot out there who want to attack this First Lady and anything she tries to do. I will not try to, but I will say this I think we have a wonderful First Lady. I am behind her 100% in fighting this childhood obesity. She never abandon the military families. Michelle paid back her student loans. She did work up until her husband decide to run for President, Michelle paid taxes too. And it’s none of your business about her wanting to be a Mom.
