Thank goodness we have someone that understands new media! The Obama’s released their behind the scenes election night photos on Flickr under a Creative Commons license! Yay! Now we all get to enjoy them. On a side note, the lava lamp dress looks a lot better in these photos. Maybe it just didn’t translate well on television. One of my favorites is President Elect Obama with his mother-in-law.

Her African bangles were biwitching! Her African earrings reflected the beauty of our BLACK heritage! Yeah white people couldn’t get it but we BLACK and proud African desendents got it! And Africans on the continent will get it!
